  1. I’d love the tickets… I’m writing a book about the history of country and americana music in Los Angeles (made in LA or by residents), in which Mr Prine will be discussed, but I’ve never seen him live.

  2. OMG, I would love these tickets. I saw John Prine in the mid-1990s and Loudon a few years ago, and they are just amazing storytellers in song and person, And sadly, I can’t afford these tickets…so it would be so fantastic to win them!

  3. I would love to see John Prine in concert. An old friend introduced me to him many years ago, and we shared a special bond over his music for some time. It would be incredibly special to be able to see him live.

  4. Among Neil Young and Bob Dylan, John Prine is one of the songwriters I admire and respect the most. Anyone who rhymes cocktail wienies with martinis is more than alright in my book. I deserve the tickets because it is my fiancĂ©es bachelorette party and I’m kicked out of my own house all weekend. Seeing John Prine would lessen the string of this weekend that is sure to be a debacle.

  5. When I saw this post I did a double-take. My husband associates John Prine music with everything good in his life. He is not a materialistic person, so it would truly be the gift of a lifetime for me to present him with these tickets. Thanks!

  6. My wife and I have been out of work since the first of the year. We love John Prine but just can’t afford to see him. I first found out about him when I was a college DJ in 1973 and we have been listening and enjoying him ever since. He is the most sincere performer there is and can be pretty damn funny too.
