Traffic Alert: Santa Anita Race Track opening 12/26

user2544-1246467155-arcadiapatchSaturday is the opening of race season at Santa Anita Race Track.  With it brings traffic problems since it is adjacent to the Santa Anita Mall.  In preparation Arcadia Police already has alerts in place to help people get around the anticipated jams.  They put up this short alert in Facebook this morning.

  1. I tried to go to Santa Anita opening day once with my family when I was little. Biggest traffic clusteryouknowhat I’ve ever been in. We just gave up and drove home.

  2. Evan, just try living near there, between that and the Rose Parade traffic around here is bad until after the New Year weekend.

  3. Thanks for this! We were over there today to see if the track was open. Now the kids really want to go see the races again. I saw that opening day was tomorrow, but didn’t know about the traffic problems. Sounds like it’ll be an early day for us.
