Garth Brooks Has Friends in High Places

Garth Brooks is country music’s Michael Jordan. He hasn’t officially un-retired, which allows more flexible options when no PTA meetings are scheduled. He’s also married to Trisha Yearwood, so family ain’t really gotta work no more, anyway. Yet, here he is, playing Los Angeles.

All 5 shows are sold out on Jan. 25 & 26. But, I just got this e-mail that private suites are available. According to staplescenter.com,

The suite furnishings are exceptional, with plush sofas and comfy club chairs, high quality finished cabinets, new carpeting, ergonomically designed sport seating and televisions with DirecTV satellite feeds.

Sounds like a an ad for a new condominium. They should include “convenient freeway and train access, and South Park adjacent.”

Quick math will tell you that you’ll need $170 to see the show. And at least 11 friends. And a hat.

Good luck, neighbor.
