LA Parking Secrets: Old Town Monrovia

oldtownparkingjpeg.jpg
I will get some flack for giving a couple of these up by the locals, but hey every one deserves a shot at enjoying Old Town for the Holidays. No secret parking is tough when Old Town was made so pedestrian friendly a year ago so here goes the info you need.

Exit Myrtle Avenue north from the 210. At Olive Avenue make a right. On your right at Ivy is a newly opened lot that is really underutilized. (This is item #3 on the map).

Next best option is head north (left) on Ivy. 1/2 block up on your right is an alley that goes to a series of small public lots. (Item #2 on the map). From there you can use the Pedestrian Alley to get to Myrtle or go up to Colorado Ave and hit those stores.

The last one is my favorite. Please save me a space OK as this one is really my favorite. Continue up Ivy, make a left at Palm Ave to spot #1. This one is a tiny lot immediately on your left past a small church building just before Myrtle. There is easy access via another pedestrian alley to Myrtle.

The map gets bigger with a click and a little elfin magic.
