Shane Black in person with Edgar Wright tonite at the New Beverly

Picture%2027.pngWednesday’s nights double feature of “Flash Gordon” and “Danger: Diabolik” at the Wright Stuff Festival was insanely fun, and I’ll have a report up with a podcast tomorrow. Timothy Dalton was there and incredibly personable, as was Joe Dante, Zoe Bell (from QT’s “Deathproof”), and even Christopher “Superman” Dennis.

Tonite’s double feature is “The Last Boy Scout” and “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” with a Q&A by Shane Black, who wrote both and also directed the latter. If previous nights are indication, this one will also be graced by some fun surprise guests… even if they’re there just to hang out and watch the movie.

Best of all, tickets for the whole evening are only $7.00. Show’s at 7:30. Get there early to allow for a decent spot in line and to allow enough time for concessions (the cheapest in the city).
