Rosh Hashanah, Musso Frank style

I may have to bring Ruben the ingredients for this one, but this year has been a pisser for me and a lot of my pals, so I’m agreeing that it’s over, and that as of today a new year begins.

Since it’s Thursday, that means Musso and Frank, and cocktails! So without further ado, I offer you

Rosh Hashanah Cobbler

Fill an old fashioned glass with crushed ice;
pour a healthy shot of Calvados (apple brandy) and another of honey mixture (heat a small amount of honey with an equal part of water in the microwave for 10 seconds, let cool).
Stir until glass frosts;
top with chunks of fresh apple, drizzle with honey, serve with a little spoon to pick up the apples and a short straw so your nose gets all the sweet scent of goodness and love.
