On Wednesdays and Saturdays, Frank and Son Collectible Show in the City of Industry opens its doors. Inside this large, nondescript warehouse, you will find rows upon rows of awesomeness.
Rows are more or less devoted to one type of collectible or another. You will of course find comic books, manga, and trading cards of all kinds, but you will also find Barbie dolls, Disney pins, and wrestling action figures. You can cruise the booths looking for your favorite Macross jet or an original Optimus Prime (in its near-mint box, naturally).
My personal favorites are the Nintendo resale booths. Looking for a Dr. Mario cartridge for your OG GameBoy? Or maybe Gyromite hasn’t been the same since you’ve lost parts of R.O.B?
Anyhow, whether you’re looking for the perfect gift for the Simpson’s fan in your life, or you’re interested in selling all your old Magic cards (a power nine set, you say?) Your best bet is dropping in to Frank and Son’s. I’ll be stopping by later. I’ll be taking a first timer. I expect to be there for hours.
