LA Live Groundbreaking Ceremony Photo Essay

Today I attended the LA Live Groundbreaking Ceremony in Downtown Los Angeles. There was a wide array of notable Los Angeles and California dignitaries in attendance. The highlight of the event for me was twofold, one that the Governor (who was introduced as The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger) is going to be my new Downtown LA neighbor once LA Live is complete and secondly that Jan Perry made fun of Arnold’s shoes. She surmised that his wife did not dress him this morning:

  1. Y’know what? I like those shoes.

    Yeah, I said it.

This is not to be taken as an endorsement, or detraction, for that matter, of Ahnold.

    I just dig the shoes.

  2. I like the shoes too – especially the Tiny Little Tassels on the laces.

But brown shoes with a blue suit? Not on MY watch.
