A Jive Bomber’s Christmas takes place in a Japanese internment camp during World War II, intends to be a history lesson of what transpired in US “concentration camps” while telling the story of a group of imprisoned Japanese Americans who overcome the injustice and put on their own Christmas show.

Experience the holidays 1865 style with A Civil War Christmas, featuring vintage period decor and entertainment and a horse drawn trolley, along with a reenactment of a musket battle!

With his annual Retro Holiday Slide Show, Charles Phoenix has made slideshows cool again. Using abandoned (or hidden) slides from the 40s through the 70s found at rummage sales, Phoenix reminds us how nerdy and tacky American culture has been over the years, especially around the holidays.

The Fake Radio troupe invites you to step back in time and into the studio audience of a live radio broadcast, with assorted performances throughout the month of classic old time radio shows by Lux Radio Theatre.

Dec. 16th and 17th: It’s A Wonderful Life
All shows begin at 7:30pm, with a cocktail “hour” at 7pm

Step back in time with 1940’s Christmas at Club Sweet Lorraine as you’re entertained by a lounge act performed by the likes of Billie Holiday, Clark Gable, and Peggy Lee.
