Metrovoting!

http://blogging.la/archives/images/2006/11/gatorland-thumb.jpgHere’s a quick polling of election activity happening elsewhere on Metroblogging:

James in Atlanta votes Libertarian in “the most uninspiring governor’s race on the planet. i ended up voting for the libertarian, garrett hayes, because i don’t even need to know who he is, i know enough libertarians to know exactly what his principles are.”

New York’s Dana Bushman gets to vote in what sounds like a predictable election there, but she gets to use one of those cool, oversized voting machines with the levers and shit…

Michael Randall in the OC reports they’re ready to vote even after they “had to survive the voter switching scandal, the Tan Letter scandal (still more to come on this one), poll guards, nasty (and I mean beyond nasty) politicking in the heart of Orange County.”

In our nation’s capital, Tom Bridge wonders if a report of voter intimidation is real or not…

Portland’s Rusty finds a correlation between election day and NCAA smackdowns…

Orlando has no election day news, but after all, they are mourning the destruction of the entrance to Gatorland after a suspicious fire (see pic)…

Seattlians (or whatever you call Seattle residents… grungians?) can use Josh’s endorse-o-matic to help decide who or what to vote on, especially since Dylan W. reports that the choices there are “Democrat, Democrat, Democrat, and Republican College Kid Dan Savage Would Like To Go Ted Haggard On…”

And to round things out, in Chicago, Fuzzy voted… so did Erica in Minnesota… after a long wait in line, Nashville’s Kate O’Neill did too… and Sherri W. was screwed out of her “I Voted” sticker in Philadelphia.
