LAX Remembers

If you’re near the LAX airport today there will be a ceremony where the “public, airport employees and passengers are invited to form a silent human Circle of Unity around the Theme Building ” at noon.

From abc news:

A wreath laying ceremony by the Los Angeles Airport Police Honor Guard will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the LAX Flag Court at Century and Sepulveda boulevards.

The Honor Guard will lay a wreath at the base of the U.S. flag, where a bronze plaque was dedicated on the first anniversary of 9/11. The plaque bears the names of all those who died on the four California-bound flights.

The Transportation Security Administration LAX Choir will sing at the wreath laying ceremony.

  1. Also, the big pillars of light there are glowing red and white blue since last night through this evening in tribute… which keeps me from mocking those things for at least a day.
