The L.A.-based band The Like (MySpace) is in the midst of performing three shows in the Southland, which is a rarity considering all of the touring they’ve been doing lately, particularly in the U.K.
I saw them at the first of these shows about two weeks ago at The Roxy, and as the fates would have it, Mark “The Cobrasnake” Hunter showed up with his girlfriend/muse Cory Kennedy and even went onstage at one point during the show to help wish lead singer Z. Berg a Happy Birthday.
Their next show was two days later at a screening of The Filth and the Fury at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre.
And their final show for awhile since they’ll once again be touring in the U.K. (as well as Japan), will be next Saturday as part of MOCA‘s After Dark series in Downtown L.A.
