The convention bills itself as the “largest shopping metroplex and cultural event to hit Los Angeles”. Sexy toys, burlesque performances, live music from great artists, male dance revues, top adult celebrities and lovely exotic dancers. Dave Navarro, guitarist extraordinaire and former member of such great bands as Jane’s Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers (and now a current member of Camp Freddy) will be sharing hosting duties with the always beautiful AVN Hall of Famer Jenna Jameson at this years convention.
In addition to hosting, Jenna Jameson and her crew of Club Jenna Girls will be appearing daily so that you can get autographs and take photos with the beautiful ladies from the Club. Dave, not content to rely on his good looks alone either, has graciously agreed to have his band Camp Freddy perform a three hour set from the show floor on Saturday from 6pm to 9pm. All of this and another 300 Erotic LA exhibitors showing off their goods and vying for your attention and hard earned pesos.
More after the jump.
In addition to all of the great exhibitors that will be in attendance the convention also features a number of seminars and workshops brought to you by the Pleasure Chest Learning Center. This just seems to be too much, doesn’t it? There will be tons of goodies and toys and clothing and media to choose from. And amongst all of this coolness will be Jenna Jameson’s hotness available for your ugly mug to take a photo with. Let’s not forget, Dave Navarro, a man who oozes sex all on his own, will be performing live.
And in the midst of all of this hoopla there will be the F.A.M.E. Awards on June 24. What is F.A.M.E. other than a movie from the ’80s? We are talking the Fan of Adult Media and Entertainment Awards. This awards show will be held at the LA Convention Center and will be hosted by Carmen Luvana and Tommy Gunn and is free to attend if you have tickets for the Convention. The awards are sort of the Adult Entertainment Industry equivalent to the People’s Choice Awards. Real folks vote for their favorite stars in a series of categories and the winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.
Tickets are $30.00 per day, and I would *definitely* recommend buying tickets in advance, as the lines can be really long as the day progresses, as well as getting there *early* if you want to beat the crowds, as again, last year’s show drew an estimated 40,000 visitors, and I’d imagine that this year will be at or exceed that level.
The convention hours are as follows:
Friday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
