Got an email today pointing out that LA Derby Dolls are finally back on track. Looks like they’ve set up housekeeping at the East Valley YMCA and are on for a match a month through November. Great news. Ever since Rollergirls ended I’ve been jonesing for a derby fix.

It was great on Saturday and I can’t wait for the next match. However, last Saturday was sweltering. The crowd was smallish I’m sure due to the heat. Hopefully it will be a cooler day at the next match in July. Bring water. Bring a hat. Bring sun screen. Apparently the match in August will be on a banked wooden track and I’m dissapointed to have to miss it.
Anyway, go, go, go! Even with the heat it was fun.
We are excited to have Roller Derby back at Industry Hills in August. Fully covered track – bring a seat pad.
