Minutemen Documentary to Premiere Feb. 25th

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about this…

We Jam Econo – The Story of the Minutemen, a new documentary by director Tim Irwin focused on the seminal California band, will premiere at the Warner Grand Theatre in the band’s hometown of San Pedro February 25th.

Surviving Minutemen Mike Watt and George Hurley, along with the director and producer, will attend a question-and-answer session with the audience afterward.

The film follows the band from its modest origins to the death of singer/guitarist D. Boon in December, 1985, and features new interviews with Watt and Hurley as well as Flea, Greg Ginn, Richard Hell, Ian MacKaye, Thurston Moore, and Henry Rollins, among others.
