From Susan Mernit’s Info Jungle:
“Hop Studios (Travis Smith & Susannah Gardner) have redesigned 5 local LA-area newspaper web sites owned by Tribune via LATimes:
The designs remind me of Topix.net, in a way, and have a nice organizational clarity–very blog-like and able to include more interactive features, I hope.
Travis says:
‘The front page of one paper is only 19K — 50K if you include all the graphics and style sheets.’
Nice.”
Go Travis and Susie! That’s very cool.
erf, very 1996. tables and all. bah.
I happen to like tables.
yes, tables are nice. to dine and play poker on. but not for websites.
Why tables for layout is stupid
still not convinced.
Try this with tables: CSS Zen Garden.
I’m not arguing against CCS, nor am I saying tables can do everything CCS can do. I happen to use both for many different things and I happen to like tables better.
Certain people like to be stuck in 1996.
That’s fine by me, I’m movin on.
Well, well, aren’t we better than everyone else. Must be good to be you!
