Tonight @ Arclight

Update: obviously it rocked. I was planning to take a photo of Will Campbell in the theater but unfortunately right when he walked by so did David Schwimmer who was sitting right in front of me and I looked like some kind of nuts-o-fan trying to get a photo. Caryn was totally embarrassed. Sorry David, I really, really was trying to get a photo of a blogger, not you.

  1. “The thing about a shark, it’s got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll’s eyes. When it comes at you it doesn’t seem to be livin’… until he bites you, and those black eyes roll over white.”

  2. I wish I could make it, but alas…

“I’m not going to stand here and argue with a guy who’s lining up to be a hot lunch!”

  3. Just checked the Arclight website and the show’s listed as sold out.

And ahhhh yes, Robert… Quint’s description to Brody and Hooper of the U.S.S. Indianapolis disaster ranks as one of the best monologue’s ever captured on film.

  4. Ah, I was there! I missed David Schwimmer, though. First time I’ve seen that film on a big screen since 1975! And I still scream when Ben Gardner’s head floats to the hole in the hull of that boat.

“You’re gonna need a bigger boat!.”
