The ABCs of Food

Saw our first “C” restaurant the other day – Something’s Fishy on Ventura. Even if they had not been closed, we would have opted for an “A” haunt. I’ve done “B” fooderies before, but wouldn’t dare to go much further beyond the second letter.

  1. I ate at a C-rated restaurant in Little India a long time ago, it was no big deal.

    You can look up on the Web why the restaurant earned a C rating – oftentimes, it’s something rather trivial, like the temperature of the refrigerator was off by a couple of degrees. Also, restaurants may have earned an A during inspection, but they rarely if ever operate at an A level on a day-to-day basis.
