A Film Festival For The Rest A Y’all

slff3.jpg Hard to believe the Silver Lake Film Festival, beginning tomorrow evening with the national premiere of the buzz-building “The Yes Men” at the Arclight, is only gonna be five years old รณ just look how much it’s grown!

With something like 32 features not including a handful of foreign films (Thai cinema retrospective, anyone?), enough documentaries for a separate fest, a long list of short subjects, plus a slew of featured performances, along with the complementary Fringe Fest 2004, this year’s edition will be veritably bursting at the seams through its close September 30.

Tix for individual film and vid screenings range from $11 ($10 for Arclight members), or you can spring for the “Festival Badge,” a $250 all-access pass to screenings, parties, and special events.
