Since it would cost me infinitely more than they’re worth to ship these boogers, I’d rather pass ’em off to geeky locals. As you can see, I’ve left their prices completely blank. Go ahead, blast me an offer I can’t refuse! I was ready to post something about ’em in Craigslist, but… well, we’ve already established that they suck down here in LA.

Craig – first of all thanks for checking out our site. Here’s Chris’ last post on the topic:

Unfortunately the list seems full of flakes in LA. Granted, I got the best apartment I’ve ever had off of a craigslisting but every item I’ve tried to buy / sell, as well as any job posting has been a total wash.
Yup. Craigslisters in LA suck ass. I never got anything outta the Chicago crowd either if that makes a difference. I think the only good group is the SF folks. I just tried to go to the site and it’s hosed so that may also have something to do with it.
Why the grand sell-off Chris?
>I think the only good group is the SF folks.
My friends in Denver seem to be really psyched about their localization. I’m not so sure. It doesn’t take a lot to impress them.
But the LA CL job listings are so, so awful. At least, the art/media listings which are what I read. That is, unless you want to put your hard earned design skills to work for $8/hour. It’s become so bad that people have started posting fake and abusive listings about it.
Anyway, back on topic…good luck wif yo’ selloff. I’m a Mac guy, so I can’t, with clear conscience, make an offer on anything with a Dell or Gateway brand name, but those switches sure sound tasty. I’ll have to ponder it.
Hey, I found a great roommate on Craigslist, well she found me after I posted on there. So, I’ll give it that. Besides, all the people who called from Westside rentals were weird, and the Recycler people were mostly tweakers. Craigslist got a better response. But anyway, I found my nice roommate and now we need a printer, so seriously, how much do you want for it?
