Cinespia has announced that they are once again doing a summer film series on Saturday nights at the Hollywood Forever cemetary, and their first pick for this year is Polanski’s killer Chinatown. I never made it to any of these last summer, but it sure sounds like a lot of fun:
Chinatown
Directed by Roman Polanski
Saturday, April 24th, 2004 at 8:00 P.M.
Hollywood Forever Cemetery
6000 Santa Monica Boulevard at Gower
No reservation necessary.
$10. Tickets sold at gate.
Gates open at 7 pm.
I’m not entirely sure what the conceptual connection between the cemetary and the films are, but as they say, “Bring blankets, picnic dinner and cocktails for this special screening below and above the stars.”
Sounds vaguely familiar:

See ya there!
D’oh! I knew I had seen a blog entry about it somewhere. And yours is a much more entertaining read.
Perhaps I’ll see you cats there!
there’s cats there?
Cool 5000! I’ll look for your hair! (We met briefly at the Farmer’s Market get-together).
Someone carry a sign or some shit like that. We’ll be there!
Sorry kids. I just found out that I’m going to see Method Man tonight. Have a great time. Maybe I’ll catch up on the next show.
I’m not sure if there are cats there, Sean, but a lost baby duck once followed us around on an outing.
