Its time for another when I can get to it roundup of the wonderful world of the SGV blogs. The leader with the best content by far is the Foothill Cities Blog (go figure but they even have this gabacho tossing up bits there now). No city goes unnoticed and the operators Centinal and Publius do a great job in digging up the news rather than just regurgitating it. So without further blather here’s the stuff fueling the blogs in far east LA.
- Centinal at FCBlog did his research and put up the last election donor results for candidates, Proctor, Robinson, Madison and Boogard. He even finds a notorious donor in these parts gave to Robinson.
- After the analysis Centinal asks…did they report donations legally? Under the Dome reports they probably didn’t.
- Arcadia Police Officers Association post a thank you for their new contract
- Monrovia Police and City duke it out in salary negotiations. Robert CJ Parry has the best take over at the FCBlog. (Well his version got more comments than mine did).
- I asked “can you embarrass city hall into action“, North Primrose says um, maybe, no, well only if you stay in their face at city council meetings.
- Sierra Madre lost its Cumquat, but 91204 asks candidates in the contentious 4/8/08 elections 20 questions and gets a small bone. Sir Eric Maudry gives his take and recap.
- Moaning in Pomona…take your choice nice nice friendly, Goddess of Pomona or a step-step right into it with M-M-M-My Pomona. (Think My Sharona for the correct rhythm).
(Pic by me of MPD Officer talking with a local regarding MPOA’s status of contract negotiation at Albertsons).
