Last day to register to vote for June Primary is today

Man, it snuck up fast. Today is the last day to register to vote for the June Primary. You can do it online HERE.

June 3rds election has a few things to decide.  Some will be to decide who the various candidates in the November general elections as well as 2 propositions.

Prop 41 is the Veterans Housing and Homeless Prevention Bond Act where we are asked if CA wants to step in and do the Fed’s job of housing our returning service men and women.  Its a $600M bond we are being asked to approve.

Prop 42 is the Public Records, Open Meetings. STATE REIMBURSEMENT TO LOCAL AGENCIES. LEGISLATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.  This propostion seeks to shift the cost of complaince from the state to the cities and counties.  Could add Tens of Millions to local governments for compliance.
