Check it out:
According to Wikipedia, the total eclipse of the heart moon will take place from 6:06 AM to 6:57 AM tomorrow. Anyone staying up that late/ getting up that early to watch it? What are some of your favorite spots for viewing cosmic events such as this?
I’ll be up all night. Griffith Observatory seems to be the place to be for this one.
I’ll be up early for it, it will be our last full eclipse until 2014 according to NASA
The winds last week blew my roof chair down otherwise I’d be up there. But IF I’m up and IF there’s coffee on and IF I have a clear view of it from my front porch I may try to nab a snap of the eclipse using my infamous cam-held-against-the-eyepiece-of-my-60x-spotting-scope technique.

I hope you get it!
Well I was up had coffee along with a clear sightline to the moon and so gave it a shot, but the chilly temps got me shivering too much to get anything remotely good. Plus I realized out there that it’s a *bit* harder to photograph a cloaked moon against a dark sky than it is a blazing full one.
