San Francisco is turning out the lights at the 1939 Transbay Terminal. Then they make go boom.
In a strange turn of events, Los Angeles is being credited with better efforts in historic preservation of its landmarks. Also, a pig just flew by my desk.

There may be some historical significance to that building, but it is a tremendous pile that needs to be replaced.
Whoa. Have you seen the transit terminal they plan to replace this with? –A development with an 80 story tower and 12 other skyscrapers. This will also be the future terminal for California High-Speed Rail just around the corner in 2030.
I will miss the old place. Always looked forward to seeing SF’s Greyhound terminal rather than LA’s Greyhound shithole at 7th and Alameda.
