As a tribute to those who have died in service to Country, they marched on Spring Street. It was the Memorial Day Parade. American pride was on display in Downtown Los Angeles.
The year was 1915.

What a great photo. Is everyone wearing a hat?
I wonder when was the last year there were horse drawn trolleys or they were never horse drawn?
If the lines are trolley tracks they are either gas powered or horse drawn since you see no electric lines in the photo.
Look at the top center of the photo, in the space between the buildings. There are electric lines there.
