That mansion behind the trees on the left would later stand in as the home of Norma Desmond in Billy Wilder&#039;s 1950 Classic Sunset Blvd. Also, the Los Altos apartment building on the left, is where newspaper magnate, William Randolph Hearst would stay while in Los Angeles.

Shame that those Wilshire Blvd. lanterns only still exist on a small stretch west of Alvarado.
