Since the statue is next to a flagpole with an American flag, perhaps it’s a patriotic statement…or not.
Next time you drive past, take a better look, maybe appreciate it for what it is rather than what you thought it was…

Fraz-I thought you had been to the Louvre. This reminds me of my then 5 year old son who said,” We came all the way to Paris to see broken stuff?”. I laugh every time I recall that trip. It is all in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for the post. Keep them coming.

Sarbal…I have been to the Louvre and it does remind me of the many “broken” statutes we saw there, maybe that is why this one is so haunting? Regardless, I love it when a homeowner takes it over the top.
