By bike or by hiking up there? Wasn’t it muddy and some of the trail washed out?

Hi phil, While I consider it entirely reactionary and biased, I respect the law banning mountain bikes from all dirt trails within Griffith Park, and venture off road strictly on-foot.

Having said that, the fire roads we traversed were in pretty good shape. The only real muddy section being the part that spans across the Mt. Hollywood Drive tunnel.
