This years LA auto show is different than all others before it. This year will be the first year with the official sanctioning by the OICA “Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automoblies”. Yes, LA is officially one of the biggies on the international circuit which is appropriate for our importance in the world market place.

The first 4 winners will receive a nifty $50 value gift pack containing the following goodies:

1 general admission passes to the Show

other goodies from the Show!
final 4 win tickets only (my bad on the clarification)

To win all you have to do is tell me why you want to attend and include a legit email address so I can contact you for mailing information on your prize package.

As we get closer to the auto show I’ll decipher and condense down the press releases, but Green Car of the Year is going to be celebrating its 5th anniversary and will be among the many events and premiers at this years show.

Details: LA Convention Center, LA Auto Show is open to the public Dec. 4-13. Hours are:
Weekdays: 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sundays: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

I want to attend the auto show because my car just got totaled. The reason being that the woman behind me was “very hungry” and wanted to finish her McDonald’s. The autoshow might just remind how nice it was back in the good old days when I could drive places.

I’m selling both my cars – a natural gas Civic and a Miata – and am looking to merge them into one fun but practical car that can hopefully swallow a bike. I’m also looking forward to talking my way into sitting in the new Lotus Evora. Last year I got into an Elise and nearly had to be extracted with the jaws of life.

I love the smell of new cars and sitting in ones I’ll never be able to afford. A free ticket would make the financial pain that much easier to swallow and I could use a new messenger bag, woo!

The last time I attended the LA Auto Show, my girlfriend bit me on the arm… (in the Mercedes-Benz exhibit as I recall) really hard and we had to leave immediately. True story.
Almost went in 2008, but, remembering what had happened (I couldn’t use my hand for days), I chickened out.
Help me get over this LA Auto Show phobia by awarding me the free ticket.

I would love to win a ticket to the LA Auto show because it’s sort of a tradition between me and my dad. We haven’t been able to go every year, college got in the way a lot and I was abroad for it one year. Now that I live in LA again I would love to be able to take him to the auto show as a gift this year.

I would like a ticket to the LA Auto Show because I recently broke up with my girlfriend. I say this because I spent my college years in the detroit area. Me and my buddies would head to the Detroit autoshow planning on trying to get as many numbers from the female auto reps. Since this is familiar territory, I assume it will help me slip back into the game.
