If that were the case, I'd probably have died of asthma as a child, but modern medicine saved me. I could list hundreds of cases of where people who should have died of medical complications they could not afford were saved by the help of strangers. The fact that these incredibly talented musicians and comedians are coming together to help a single helpless individual is a powerful statement on how we should all help each other out. More importantly, who else is with me on encouraging Black Francis and company in performing a rendition of Feed the World? Damn song gets stuck in my head every December... this might help break the curse. Natural selection my ass.
