Jim Morrison says it best “It’s like gambling somehow. You go out for a night of drinking and you don’t know where you’re going to end up the next day. It could work out good or it could be disastrous. It’s like the throw of the dice.” We can all relate to having a few nights like this but yet we do it over and over.

My favorite Doors quote is from one of the Doors live albums. Morrison is chatting up the crowd between songs, and he mentions “I’m a Sagittarius, the most philosophical of all the signs.” A woman in the audience enthusiastically shouts “Me too!” Then Morrison continues, “Of course, I don’t believe in it. I think it’s a bunch of bullshit.” And of course the woman shouts up as fast as possible “Me neither!” It makes me laugh every time I hear it.

My favorite doors quotes are the ones from the soft parade..” When everything else fails we can Whip the horses eyes, and make them sleep and cry…” and the one from severed garden : “no more money no moré fancy dress. This other kingdom Seems by far the best”
