If the thing with the owner doesn’t work, contact the Silver Lake CofC. They’ve been around a long time and have been pro-active in making the area better, not bigger. Their site is:

I don’t live in Silver Lake but my chiropractor, Dr Cheryl Revkin is, and if the rest of the chamber is anything like her they’ll listen and do what they can.

I know the owner, though not well enough to make much of an intro. He lives on my old place right down the street from you. Just walk on down and say hello. I’m sure he’d rather have a stranger bang on his door than get shut down by the government. I’ll txt you his house number.
