I would play the xaphoon. A lovely pocket saxophone that sounds a little like a clarinet. My band would consist of instruments with names that are fun to say. Like krumhorns and carillions.

Beer Bottle Organ - A musical instrument made by Peterson Tuners, yes, the organ sound is actually produced by blowing air over the tops of real beer bottles.

The bottles are filled or "tuned" using mineral oil, so it will not evaporate or change tunings during weather changes.

I would play the Katzenklavier! Talk about outsider folk! Wait until they hear the punk rock, live version of the Jingle Cats!

I play ukulele, which probably isn't the most unconventional instrument, but is my absolute favorite. It always sounds happy and lively, and even if you only know one chord, you can still turn out something fun and simple.

As for my dream band? I have a friend who plays acorrdion, and another who owns a few synthesizers...throw in a ukulele, and what kind of music does that make? I don't know just yet, but we're working on it!

For my make believe band, I'd be playing the washboard and redneck it up a bit and I'd toss out my thimbles out to the crowd after each set.
