		<description>Thanks for the reminder.  Obviously, even w/o fires, earthquake risk is enough to create the need for these getaway kits.  I keep docs in a &quot;fire box&quot; with handle that does double duty as easy thing to grab for getaway, and durable box to withstand fire or earthquake.  I keep separate kits in home and car (including lots of water and some MREs).  If I end up never needing any of this, it will be the best small amount of time and money that I ever wasted.

		<description>I cannot stress enough to have in your evac pack your Homeowners, Renters and Car insurance docs in the event you have a loss.  Have cash in the pack as you don&#039;t always know where the nearest ATM is or what you might need to buy right now and phone lines are down affecting debit/credit purchases.
