I threw in the towel for solar at the house after looking at at the permit hurdles ratcheting up the cost to the point break even would be sometime after I either died and or sold the house and moved because kids would be finally out of college. If they want us to solar they need to get the price down so regular folks can afford it. Great post and electric is long over due.
