I've been loving and going to Comic-Con for the past 10 years or so (and have had a table in Small Press for the past 4). I think when Hall H opened five years ago is when is seemed to really expand size-wise. The studios have pretty much been there in my years of attending, but the events have gotten progressively harder to get into with people camping out overnight in line, etc. Someone pointed out, and I tend to agree, that one thing that's changed is there are a lot of people who now go to "check out the freak show" vs. participate themselves. Nonetheless, I love it and won't miss it if I can help it. The complaints I have relate more to the city itself, where you're hard pressed to find somewhere to get a meal after 10pm on a weekend night!
