Same sex marriage advocates need to re-direct their protests and messages away from Los Angeles proper and into the “Red State” areas of California. It is a waste of time to stand with signs asking for honking horns in the middle of Silver Lake or West Hollywood. Talk about preaching to the converted! Countering crazy rght wing mis-rhetoric is a waste of time unless cobined with a more pro-active approach of entering discussion and dialogue with churches, suburban community groups and ANYWHERE behind the Orange Curtain and Central/Northern California towns like Fresno, Sacramento and down to San Diego etc..
