Metbloggers had its first meetup after I and a new crop of fellow writers came on board last year. The pool and outdoor area was beautiful, and could easily become a "scene." But the inside was charmingly Moroccan shabby bordering on creepy. When I went down the dark, narrow lobby stairway to the men's room, I thought for sure that some guy in a fez was going to jump out and try to stab me. This is the place the L.A.
