Classic Eats #4: Pasadena Bound!

classiceats2 You made your voices heard! We are going to Pasadena for Pie ‘N Burger this Saturday, April 4th. I’ve never been there (hence this series!) so I don’t know how big it is. I’m thinking if we get the usual turnout – 10 to 15 people – it will be crowded with just us, so let’s get there at 5:30pm.

Classic Hollywood Cocktails ran a very close second. Don’t forget, if you didn’t get what you voted for this time, it will be on the ballot again for next time.

Pie n’ Burger is excellent — you’ll have a blast! It’s small, basically one long counter with a few tables in back, as I recall. Sorry we’ll miss this one, but I better block out dates in case it’s HDDM next — can’t miss that!

Dammit! Of course Pie & Burger happens the week I’m out of town. Of course, I’d have been disappointed to miss any of them, and I do still have the HDDM to look forward to.

Solely for the sake of rumor suppression, I would like to point out that Amsterdam is tomorrow. No comment on what might make me think of pies and burgers then; what happens in Amsterdam, stays in Amsterdam. As I am over-nighting in Brussels, it’s a Stella Artois at my side. Guinness will be next week.

The real issue is: holy CRAP! I’m in Europe and I’m cruising LA MetBlogs? Dork! In my defense, it’s late and Belgium is closed.
