Right now he has his own agenda and Prop 8 sadly has to take a back seat to wooing the religious middle to gain broader support in the middle and whittle down the divide in this country. I don't believe for one minute that any pol will step in on Prop 8 and rock the boat with future elections. Right now the Dems can't afford to lose their slim majority and the GOP won't do shit to lose their filibuster power. This is a civil rights issue that needs to be determined once and for all in the courts. On that note I've contributed again to the No cause and the litigation.
