Over the course of three appointments in as many weeks, the doctor took a total of maybe 3 minutes and charged my insurance company $1000. He must have been on a Botox drip, because the only parts of his face that moved were the middle parts of his upper and lower lips as he said, "See billing on your way out." I don't even want to go into what the crowd was like in the waiting room. But since then, I only go west of La Brea if it's absolutely necessary.
