The center stripe may be for path direction more than for foot/bike seperation. Hard to tell. Parallel foot/pet/skate paths to follow?

Just to clarify for all who are WTF’ing about her being on the Chandler Bikeway: pedestrians are allowed. In fact there is a line of demarkation separating the foot path from the bike path.

PS. What’s interesting in the lead photo on the above linked page is that in the background it seems like two pedestrians (or a walker and a companion on a push scooter) are clearly ignoring the boundary.

I think “BIKEWAYS” should be reserved for bicycles.

If she is walking on a bikeway, she is creating a bigger hazard than a speeding bicycle.

#1 cracked me up, if bikes can’t be on a bikeway what the hell are they gonna do?

Personally I think Bikeways need to be reserved for just that.
