Hasn't that been the Padres bag of tricks the last couple of years? I'm actually a huge Padres fan, and I'm excited for Greg. All the sports talk show guys were up in arms yesterday - how could we help the Dodgers win the division? Give it up. It's not like the Padres are going to win anything this year. So, hopefully the Padres got a couple of good players out of the deal (or some cash), and the Dodgers and Maddux can do something this year. Maddux is a hall of famer, and a fantastic pitcher. I don't know how much he has left in the tank (if the Dodgers can't score him some runs, he'll have the same problem he had in San Diego). But, he's a great pitcher, and he deserves to be on a winning team. That certainly wasn't happening in San Diego. Getting swept in the first round?
