Beef up your stash of coolness (or get Christmas shopping out of the way WAY early) at this weekend’s Silent Art Auction to benefit Handmade Nation.

Don’t have time to watch the film? Just read about Handmade Nation director Faythe Levine instead.

Or just take my word for it that she’s spent every last penny (and worn out every last credit card) financing her film, which follows the new wave of art, craft, and design. To help offset the costs that are now piling up on post-production, she’s teamed up with the folks at Poketo to hold a Silent Art Auction fundraiser in Los Angeles this Saturday night, July 19. An astounding array of artwork has been donated by 30+ fabulous creators, including Sarah Neuburger, Diem Chau, Kime Buzzelli, Emily Eibel, Lisa Congdon, Nikki McClure and many more.

SWAG ALERT: The first 50 auction guests will enjoy swag bags!
