Venice Skate Park Moves Closer to Reality

According to the Argonaut, work on Venice’s beachfront skate park will finally kick off this fall. Curbed has some images of the 16,000-square-foot park, which is scheduled to open late next year. Whooda thunk it would 2009, almost 2010, before the birthplace of modern skateboarding finally opened it’s own skate park?
