Takei Goes Where No Man Has Gone Before: First Same-Sex Marriage License in WeHo

George Takei (of Star Trek fame, just in case you’ve been living in a hole for the last 40 years) and long-time partner Brad Altman became the first same-sex couple to receive a marriage license in West Hollywood this morning.

Agreed. What makes me sad is the number of friends I have lost over the years who never were able to marry before a partner died.

I’m glad that the courts finally used their heads and gave the ok.
