LAFD needs Volunteers

You know you always wanted to be a firefighter when you grew up.

Here’s your chance:

The LAFD, the LAPD and, of course, Mayor Villaraigosa are looking for those who are willing to be Trained Volunteers working alongside the City’s Finest in times of need.

Training starts January 22nd, 2008.
For more info go to www.lafd.org/crt.htm.

Somebody’s gonna plug in too many lights on that Christmas Tree this season, give the guys a hand, will ya?

Thanks to LAFD Spokesman, Brian Humphrey for the tip.

  1. Rob,

Thanks for helping us spread the word. While volunteers won’t be pulling hose or climbing ladders, they will be trained to assist us in the most important thing we do: taking care of our friends and neighbors by offering them guidance, support and reassurance during truly difficult times. I hope that many members of the b/la family will participate in this worthy program.

    Again Rob, thanks!

Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,
