At Meltdown Comics!
The venerable Meltdown Comics is having a book signing for Brian Ray Turcotte’s new tome Punk is Dead, Punk is Everything.
It’s a coffee table type thing, as those of us who survived this kinda crap probably have coffee tables now. It’s pretty nice, and only around forty bucks. Lotta cool shots, pics of old flyers and zines, very handsome piece of work.
Book signing’s at 7PM, and there’s a gallery exhibit to go along with it by VoxPop, featuring a ton of gig flyers and some cool silkscreen canvases of Old School punk icons, Darby Crash and Siouxsie Sioux, by Jesse V., and John Miner. That opens at 7, as well.
I’m told there will be refreshing beverages. You should go.
