Cox Walks Hard on the Sunset Strip

The Cox Across America tour starts tonight.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, starring John C. Reilly, hits theaters on December 21st., but Cox and the Hard Walkers will kick off a seven-city run tonight at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip. A second L.A. show is set for the Guitar Center on Sunset, on December 12th.

  1. I was discussing this movie with some friends after seeing the trailer. We all concluded that we’d not be seeing it. Not so much because it looks unfunny, but because they named the main character Dewey Cox–and took that fact exactly where you knew they would.

    I mean, dick jokes are great. But naming a character in a film “Cox” for the expressed purpose of being the catalyst of said jokes? Get right out of town! I’ll save my duckets for Juno. (Wherein the lead character’s named Juno MacGuff, and not Juno Muff.)
